Artist Bio
Hi! I'm Leanne (she/her),
a multimedia artist passionate about creating works that inspire, connect, and send a message to the heart. My art includes customized acrylic paintings, clay jewelry, digital prints, stationery, bookmarkers, light switch covers, Christmas ornaments, and wood-burned crafts. I am a self-taught artist, continually learning and evolving in my practice. As a military veteran and aspiring social worker, I strive to weave the values of empathy, mental health advocacy, and social justice into my art. I deeply believe in the transformative power of creativity, both in therapy and in life. Just as picking up a paintbrush has brought healing and renewal to my own journey, I hope my art can serve as a reminder that as color transforms a blank canvas, beauty can emerge from darkness.

Painting has given me the freedom to discover who I am throughout and following my military service. In a world where everything had to be uniform, controlled, and disciplined, art has become a space where I can be fluid, expressive, and unapologetically myself. Each brushstroke helps me break away from rigidity and reconnect with my individuality, emotions, and purpose.
Sabers and Paintbrushes
Painting is not my only passion- I am also a saber fencer!
When an injury sidelined my Olympic dreams, art became my refuge- the canvas where I could channel the precision, grace, and intensity of the sport I love. Fencing continues to holds a special place in my heart, but it’s a sport that often goes unrecognized in the US. While basketball, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, etc. are often celebrated in fine art, fencing remains underrepresented. I'm here to change that.
